The LAKER extruder type EV is fabricated entirely from welded and normalised steel,
has a low energy consumption and, particularly for customers with limited space, is very
compact. Its main characteristic is that just one motor powers the feeding and extruding group which are both aligned on the same shaft. Traditional gears have been raplaced with a special planetary system driven by a direct current motor or by an alternating current motor with inverter speed control. This particular solution allows a variable output depending on the material, removing surges of the auger and therefore passive wear. The superimposition of a single shaft mixer allows water addition and gives a homogeneous mixture of the various components. |
