Laker has designed various types of box feeders, differing in capacity and load, in
order to satisfy the varied requirements of customers. Their frames, particularly strong allow the installation of big hoppers without the need of additional floor supports. The belt conveyor comprises overlapping thick slats, strengthened on the underside by a steel channel section and by one or more lines of central rollers or sliding plates. The picker shaft is indipendently powered. The shape of the pickers can be changed according to the different materials to be worked. The control group is composed by a planetary reducer driven by a motorvariator, an inverter or a d.c. motor depending on customer needs. The driving and idling sprockets are fabricated in steel and are linked to the shafts by a blocking unit in order to allow rapid maintenance. |
